Associate Marketing Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Marketing Specialist to join the Analog & Connectivity (A&C) business unit in the semiconductor industry. This entry-level role, designed for a New College Graduate, will support the central Test Engineering (TE), Product Engineering (PE), and Product Management (PM) group. The Associate Marketing Specialist will leverage data consolidation, analytical, and scripting capabilities to drive business planning, optimize costs, and ensure product quality. The role also involves contributing to strategic and operational initiatives as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical and analytical individual to grow within a dynamic, high-impact team.

Key Capabilities

Data Integration and Management:

Ability to aggregate and standardize complex, fragmented datasets from diverse sources and formats to enable strategic business planning and strengthen partnerships across the A&C business unit.

Yield and Cost Optimization Analysis:

Proficiency in analyzing yield data across multiple products, process nodes, testers, hardware, and outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) providers to identify trends and drive cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) improvements across business units.

Test Process Automation:

Capability to streamline test limit transitions from manual documentation (e.g., DoxBox, Excel) to production-ready Automated Test Equipment (ATE) formats, reducing manual effort and enhancing efficiency for Product Engineers.

Test Specification Alignment:

Expertise in developing routines to align ATE test specifications with datasheet electrical test requirements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and high product quality.

Scripting and Data Visualization:

Competence in writing scripts (e.g., JMP, Python) to automate data analysis, create visualizations, and support bench testing for product qualifications and customer return investigations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Support:

Ability to engage with cross-functional teams to support strategic and business operations initiatives, including process improvements, data-driven decision-making, and ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, completed within the last 12 months.
  • Foundational knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, test processes, or data analysis.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JMP scripting, or similar).
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, JMP, or Tableau) and file formats used in engineering environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams.

Desired Skills

  • Exposure to semiconductor yield analysis, test engineering, or product engineering through coursework, internships, or projects.
  • Basic understanding of ATE systems, test limit files, or electrical test specifications.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in process optimization and cost reduction strategies.
  • Eagerness to contribute to both technical and strategic initiatives.

Success in this role will be measured by the ability to leverage data, automation, and analytical skills to enhance business planning, reduce costs, ensure product quality, and provide reliable support to the TE, PE, and PM teams while growing into a key contributor within the A&C business unit.
