Data Analytics for Silicon Validation Intern

Job Description

Summer 2026 Internship - May 26 - August 14

Must be currently enrolled full time in a university degree program pursing a bachelor or master degree.  Must not have graduated before September 2026

We are only considering local talent.

100% onsite

We are seeking a proactive Post-Silicon Validation Intern to join our team. This role focuses on the critical intersection of high-speed memory validation data science. You will develop an automated, AI-enhanced framework to aggregate and analyze data across Bench, ATE, System, and Module-level testing. Your goal is to overcome format variations and create a unified, comprehensive report on the health and performance of our next-generation DDR memory interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • DDR Data Correlation: Develop scripts to harmonize disparate data formats from high-speed memory testing (e.g., eye diagrams, jitter analysis, and margin testing).
  • AI-Enhanced Parsing: Apply AI/ML techniques (like NLP or pattern recognition) to automate the parsing of inconsistent log files and overcome variation in test report formats.
  • Unified Reporting: Build automated pipelines that combine data from Bench (characterization), ATE (high-volume), and System/Module (real-world) environments into a single dashboard.
  • Root Cause Support: Assist senior engineers in identifying silicon errata or performance bottlenecks.
  • Metric Development: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for memory stability across various PVT (Process, Voltage, Temperature) corners.
  • The intern project to be impactful, need the candidate to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally with Validation and Design engineers and be responsive to modifying and enhancing the delivered solution based on the received feedback from internal teams

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a rising senior Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Must not have graduated before September 2026
  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy) and automation.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to transform raw data into clear, actionable technical reports.
  • Preferred Skills & Knowledge
  • Memory Interfaces: Familiarity with DDR4/5 or LPDDR4/5 protocols, including concepts like training, leveling, and signal margins.
  • AI/ML Application: Experience using Scikit-learn or similar libraries for data classification, anomaly detection, or predictive modeling

Additional Information

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $31.25 - $41.50. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that the final offer amount, including any applicable bonuses, will be dependent on geographic location, relevant experience, and skillset of the candidate.

Interns may be eligible for certain Company-provided benefits, which can include sick leave, holiday pay, and medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility and specific benefits will be provided in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.
