Austin, TX - 100% onsite - no relocation provided

Must be currently enrolled full time in a university degree program pursing a bachelor or master degree.  Must not have graduated before September 2026

Our Infrastructure Power team is looking for a talented BSc/MSc in Electrical/Computer Engineering (EE/ECE) currently a college grad to join our team as a fulltime Digital Engineer Intern at our office in Austin, TX. Our team works on the most advanced digital power ICs in the industry. This is an excellent full-time/permanent role giving the opportunity to work with an expert team learning digital design, verification, debug, simulation, and automation script development, contributing to industry leading chips.

Job Duties:

  • Develop, debug, and verify digital designs in pre and post silicon environment
  • Write tests to verify digital designs
  • Learn, develop and improve scripts to facilitate design automation flows.
  • Document design requirement, architecture, and implementation
  • Research and present new tools in aid of design development process

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled full time in a university degree program pursing a bachelor or master degree.  Must not have graduated before September 2026
  • Comfortable with debugging mixed-signal designs in System Verilog based test benches
  • Project work showing collaborative and innovative thinking
  • Proficient in a scripting language such as Python/Perl
  • Strong analytical skills and debug methodology
  • Good written and verbal communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience with Cadence or Synopsys design tools: SimVision or Verdi
  • Knowledge of ARM cortex M-series processor and computer architecture in general
  • Academic experience of serial interfaces
  • Exposure to mixed signal designs w/ academic understanding of basic analog circuits
  • Prior industry employment/internship experience in relevant subject
