Director, Analog Design
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Line Manager to prioritize near-term product execution imperatives and long-term strategic initiatives
- Synthesize technical goals from business strategy
- Define design IP, process technology, and packaging requirements to meet portfolio performance and cost targets
- Identify and adopt tools and methodologies for ongoing improvements in development time and product quality
- Work with cross functional groups to integrate new capabilities into the design process
- Align product development plans to leverage capabilities
- Direct the IC design and verification team to deliver on cost, performance, and time-to-market goals
- Grow the design organization with top talent in support of product roadmap
- Collaborate within the larger design community on sharing of IP, resources, methodologies, and knowhow
- Visit customers to learn about the application and total system level solution
- Cultivate a culture of excellence with a commitment to exceed customer expectations
Job Requirements
- BSEE (MSEE pref.) or equivalent with 20+ years professional industry experience in design engineering role, including 10 years of management experience
- Background in power management design
- A demonstrated track record of managing the development of commercially successful power IC products building, retaining, and managing a global team
- Strong communications skills and broad technical skills are required
