Planning Specialist


Job Description

Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including backlog management, wafer bank release, and assembly die kitting to ensure seamless production flow. It oversees inventory control and drives shipment planning to meet Product Group (PG) revenue targets while ensuring strong on-time delivery (OTD) performance to customers. The position also collaborates closely with global Sales and Marketing teams to support demand fulfillment and achieve overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage shipment estimates to meet PG revenue plan – liaise with Planning group – enough supply to meet customer demand
  • Backlog management – manage RISO and unschd backlog, improve shipment date to match customer CRD, maximize weekly shipment to customer
  • Responsible for customer OTD
  • Supporting worldwide Sales/Marketing/CSR
  • Develop strong capacity understanding for assembly and test operations to effectively manage WIP positioning and optimize Days of Inventory (DOI), while closely monitoring output performance to ensure quarterly shipment revenue targets are achieved
  • Coordinate with inter-departments to resolve planning/scheduling/shipment related issues

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in complex supply chain planning organizations. Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with inventory control and management.
