Principal DSP Software Engineer
We are looking for a Principal DSP Software Engineer to join our team in Greece. Locations are Athens and Patras.
- Design, development, integration, evaluation and verification of DSP audio filters and algorithms.
- Design, development, integration and verification DSP embedded solutions.
- Specification, design and implementation of embedded hardware and software DSP filters and algorithms.
- Specification, design, development, and optimisation of DSP audio frameworks.
- Debugging and resolving technical issues.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Develop test benches for DSP algorithms and embedded code running in simulation and on target.
- Provide technical support from product requirements phase through to production.
- Bachelor level with approx. 6+ years deep working experience in Embedded SW development
- Excellent knowledge in DSP, MCU, IC and audio codec architectures.
- Excellent knowledge of embedded architectures and real time embedded software.
- Fluent in real time embedded C/C++ programming with in-depth knowledge of DSP algorithm development.
- Good problem solving and debugging skills.
- Good competency in Python and/or MATLAB.
- Good knowledge and understanding of fixed-point implementation.
- Good knowledge of software development workflows and working methodologies
- Clearly report bugs using issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Ability to work to tight schedules and deadlines
- Concise and proactive communication skills critical within a multi-site and multi-cultural environment.
- Desirable
- Good knowledge and experience in audio, digital filtering and portable audio applications such as headphones and wireless earbuds.
- Good experience in optimising DSP solutions for low footprint, low latency and low power applications.
- Previous team leading or technical leading experience.
- Familiarity with CI tools such as Jenkins
- Experience using SystemC
