Principal Product Engineer

This is an experienced role for a Product Engineer. Product Engineers in the Hi-Reliability group develop Radiation-Hardened ICs for the Space Industry. You will work on leading-edge ICs designed for Space and Harsh Environments, fueling innovation for the future of satellite systems and space travel. As a Product Engineer, you will serve as the hub of the development team, ensuring project milestones are met. Your value will come from a cross-functional knowledge base spanning IC design, radiation effects, applications engineering, test engineering, assembly and packaging engineering, and reliability engineering, enabling you to integrate requirements across functions into a final manufacturable product. Characterizing the design to ensure compliance with electrical specifications is a central responsibility. Your experience in the semiconductor industry will also bring a fresh mindset to continuous improvement activities, helping shape how the Hi-REL PE/TE team approaches NPI.

Requirements:

• 10+ years' experience executing new product development in Semiconductor
• Industry
• Lab proficiency - Comfortable using oscilloscope, multimeter, and bench power
• supplies
• Familiarity with Automated Test Equipment such as ETS64, microFLEX, UltraFLEX,
• or Advantest 93k
• Strong statistical data analysis capability using a data analysis tool such as JMP or
• Spotfire
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to enable leading a product development team

Education

• BSEE/MSEE.
