Sales Operations Analyst


Job Description

Semiconductors are the digital oil of the modern economy—powering AI, automation, and the connected world. As a Sales Operations Analyst at Renesas, you’ll be part of this transformation. You’ll streamline sales processes, deliver actionable data insights, and drive operational efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a solid understanding of the semiconductor industry

  • Sales Strategy Support: Contribute to the execution of sales strategies by aligning data, tools, and reporting with business goals.
  • Data Management & Integrity: Maintain and map sales data across systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency across market segments.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Support customer forecasting and collaborate with business teams to meet financial targets.
  • Pipeline & Funnel Oversight: Monitor funnel health, support opportunity tracking, and drive progress within the sales funnel.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Build and manage dashboards, scorecards, and ad-hoc reports to track KPIs and drive accountability.
  • Gap Analysis & Opportunity Modeling: Use funnel analytics to identify risks and gaps, enabling proactive actions and growth strategies.
  • Target Setting & Tracking: Assist in defining and monitoring performance targets for design-in and distributor initiatives.
  • Sales Enablement & Business Tools: Train sales on reporting tools, dashboards, and process changes. Develop and manage tools that support planning, reviews, and operational efficiency across teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales operations, analytics, or business support—ideally within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Power Query) and Power BI; experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proactive, anticipative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and business awareness.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor industry dynamics and sales processes is a plus.
