Senior Embedded SW Engineer
We are seeking an Embedded SW Engineer to join our HW Engineering group.
The group is interacting closely with HW design teams (RF\Analog\mixSignal\Digital), SW teams and system from pre-silicon to Mass production by designing, developing and implementing HW low level drivers, Reference SW, HW platforms, IC\system validation and optimization.
The cooperation and involvement will ensure high quality IoT WiFi\BLE products to our customers and partners.
The specific team responsible for enabling FPGA package (model, HW, SW) for pre-silicon SW-HW integration development and developing low level drivers and reference SW for the IC from concept, implementation and up to test and characterize on target.
The team’s activity involves multidisciplinary knowledge and hands-on in Lab capabilities to ensure proper and stable IC performance over application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop low level drivers and reference SW for embedded system
- Collaborate and provide feedback to the HW designer.
- Assist with the quality of SW and IC product by developing tests for the design verification of the products.
- Analyze complex system issues and suggest workarounds.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in C programming for ARM Cortex-M.
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing and debugging embedded software, including use of tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and IDE debuggers.
- Good understanding of IC HW and the interaction with the SW.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python for test automation or tooling.
- Experience with reading HW specifications and developing low level drivers.
- Hands-on in Lab
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a proven ability to present technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications::
- Knowledge of wireless technologies (Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-Fi).
- Knowledge of standard communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN,USB etc.).
- Experience with FPGA-based embedded systems.
- Experience with power and resource optimization in embedded systems.
