Sr Staff Application Engineer- Si Power MOSFET

•  Application engineering role for Si MOSFET development Evaluation samples, benchmarking test, Power loss, temperature, waveform Simulation work.
• Customer technical support. Visiting the customers in Taiwan and Discussion with customer to develop the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Spice simulation and waveform analysis for the circuit using MOSFET (PSpice, LTSpice, Simetrix)
• Power loss and temperature simulation/estimation with PLECS and Excel calculation sheet.
• Design new evaluation setups for MOFET characterization & Evaluate MOSFET in the lab.
• Prepare technical collateral including application notes, technical papers and customer presentations.
• Work with customers, marketing and product managers to define product roadmap and product enhancements.
• Propose improvements and introduce ideas for new products and system solutions.
• Respond to technical inquiries from existing and prospective customers with proper documentation and timely feedback/analysis.

MUST have

• Power MOSFET and Power electronics circuit knowledge.
• Experiences in power electronics industry.
• Spice simulation knowledge & simulation Skill (PSpice, LTspice, or Simetrix)
• Strong written and communication skills with experience in specification creation, technical writing and customer presentation.

Good to have

• Application Engineer or Field Application Engineer experience.
• Trouble shooting, failure analysis skill
• Power electronic board design experiences (DCDC converter, etc.)
• Communication skill with other region members in Japan, Korea, Malaysia, US, etc.
• PLECS simulation skill
• Excell VBA skill
