Sr Staff Communications Specialist
· Develop and execute PR strategies for Renesas’ technology and product portfolios.
· Create press materials including press releases, presentations, background materials for media interviews, fact sheets, and thought leadership content for technical and business audiences.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with media, analysts, and influencers in the semiconductor and electronics sectors.
· Integrate video content and social media into PR strategies to expand reach and engagement across digital platforms.
· Collaborate with product marketing, engineering, sales and executive teams to deliver strong and consistent messaging across all channels.
· Manage PR efforts for product launches, trade shows, and industry events.
· Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
· Work with global PR agencies to ensure alignment and maximize impact.
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
· 5+ years of public relations experience in the semiconductor or technology industry.
· Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and business audiences.
· Ability to analyze technology trends and develop forward-looking communication strategies that differentiate Renesas.
· Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
· Experience integrating video content and social media into PR strategies.
· Comfortable working across global teams and time zones.

The expected annual pay range for this position is $161,000- $200,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that the final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
