Sr UI/UX Design Engineer

Summary 

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer who is passionate about creating intuitive, user-centric digital experiences. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into simple, elegant, and effective user experiences. This role requires a strong balance of design thinking, usability, and business understanding. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand business goals, user needs, and functional requirements. 

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to validate design decisions. 

  • Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. 

  • Deliverables include mockups, prototypes, visual assets, and documentation required for proper implementation 

  • Define and maintain UX standards, design systems, and style guides. 

  • Review and validate UI implementations to ensure alignment with design intent. 

  • Continuously improving product usability based on analytics, user feedback, and testing results. 

  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to UX best practices within the team


Qualifications

Mandatory Skills and Experience 

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a UX Designer for web and/or mobile applications. 

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions and problem-solving skills. 

  • Understand research, user scenarios, and prototyping and possess in-depth knowledge of composition, color theory, typography, grids, and layouts 

  • High-level proficiency in Figma—including libraries, auto layout, and prototyping 

  • Possess graphic and user interface design skills, an affinity for consistency, color use, typography, and a keen eye for detail 

  • Strong understanding of UX principles, usability, accessibility, and interaction design. 

  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and interpreting results. 

  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive user experiences. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to balance user needs with business goals. 

Good to have 

  • A strong interest in design trends, emerging technologies, and electronics 

  • Experience working in SaaS or enterprise product environments. 

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end constraints (not mandatory). 

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes. 

  • Experience designing for data-heavy or workflow-driven applications. 

  • Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG).
