Staff Test Engineer
· Bachelor’s degree or greater in Electrical/Computer engineering or Computer science.
· 6+ years of experience working with Automated Test Systems (ATE); Microflex & Advantest 93K preferred. ETS364/800 a plus.
· 6+ years of hands-on experience in ATE test development for analog, digital and mixed signal.
· Experience in programming such as C++, basic, Perl, python, etc.
· Experience in testing and collecting data on IC chips or circuits using standard tools such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
· Proficient with ATE analog digital instruments, PCB layout parasitic reduction, and strong debug/troubleshooting experience
· Hands-on experience in debugging analog products with serial bus interfaces
· Experience with test hardware and test program development
· Travel 0-10%
As a Staff Test Engineer, you will exhibit a wide range of experience, using in depth professional knowledge, acumen and concepts to develop and resolve complex issues and procedures. You will provide solutions to issues in creative and effective ways and direct the application of existing principles and guide developments of new policies and ideas. An understanding of the interaction of different disciplines will be fundamental to this position.
This position will understand and work on complex issues where analysis of data requires an in-depth evaluation of varying factors. You will determine methods and procedures for new assignments, and exercise judgement in selecting techniques and criteria for the obtaining of results. Work is completed in this role with the expectation of meeting departmental objectives.
You will network with key contacts outside of your own area of expertise and adapt accordingly to deliver messages that relate to the wider business. You will frequently be called on to advise others on complex matters and may be accountable for the timely delivery of tactical business objectives.
