Validation Engineer
The Post-Silicon Validation team within the Performance Computing Power Division is building a world-class organization of highly skilled engineers across multiple global sites. Our mission is to push the boundaries of silicon validation for industry-leading integrated circuits enabling high-power, high-efficiency power management systems.

As a Validation Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary global development team and play a key role in ensuring that every new product fully meets its electrical, functional, and performance specifications before release to production. You will work closely with Design, Applications, Product Engineering, Quality, and System teams to identify, debug, and resolve silicon and system-level issues while supporting aggressive product development and New Product Introduction (NPI) schedules.

Principal Responsibilities :
Validate analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power management ICs against electrical, functional, and performance specifications.
Prepare advanced laboratory test setups for complex silicon evaluation.
Contribute to the design of custom evaluation boards and supporting hardware for silicon characterization.
Develop measurement scripts using Python.
Perform data acquisition, statistical analysis, result correlation, preparation of detailed technical reports and silicon evaluation summaries.
Evaluate silicon performance at device, board, and system level, identifying, documenting, and tracking silicon and application issues.
Collaborate closely with Design, Applications, Firmware, Product Engineering, and Quality teams to investigate and resolve silicon and system-level bugs.
Contribute innovative ideas that enhance validation quality, automation, productivity, and time-to-market.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline with about 2 years of work-related experience.
Good level of expertise in lab automation, ability to propose improvements to existing measurements techniques.
Proficiency with Python programming with particular use for lab automation hardware environments
Basic knowledge of power management applications in consumer electronic
Board level analog and digital circuit design expertise for PCB schematic creation
Strong analytical and debugging skills with a systematic approach to problem solving.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage priorities while delivering high-quality results under demanding project schedules.
Goals-oriented and able to deliver on-time results under tight schedules
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within international cross-functional teams.
